I am pretty sure that this guitar was not used in 2006! I think that someone is a little bit confused between Mirror Kaoss and M1D1. Should this be altered? --[[User:SC-1 Standard|SC-1]] 14:01, 17 April 2011 (BST)

Can anybody confirm this is the Chrome kaoss in the video ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMeHTTVOdSI

The body is surley chrome and it has a kaoss pad too, and... well, watch carefully the second verse - it has a tremolo (floyd ?) !!!! --IIIAliAsIII

Interesting. The guitar in the video seems to be mirrored and has an xy midi pad (Chrome Kaoss is a misnomer - it should be mirror midi). However as you point out the one in the video has a whammy bar and the pictures of the "Chrome Kaoss" on Jools don't seem to have a whammy bar. I can think of three possibilities:

1. The chrome kaoss has a strat style trem with a removable bar (I can't see the mounting hole on the Jools pics though)

2. The bridge has been replaced since Jools. (Would explain why it's not been seen on the American tour?)

3. This is another new guitar

I agree with you about the name Chrome kaoss - maybe it would be better to name as Mirror Kaoss or something like that.

And I had the exact thought as your 2nd point!

Well, I guess we wil have to wait for some more UK gigs and then we'll see what's about this guitar(s). :) --IIIAliAsIII 13:00, 6 November 2009

I checked the Jools vid and indeed, there's a hole for trem. If I knew exactly how to upload a screenshot, I'd do it. --Musejunkie90 03:49, 7 November 2009 (GMT)

On the sidebar under 'toolbox' click upload file :)       Wilf  Talk 11:58, 7 November 2009 (GMT)

OK I downloaded a DVD of Jools performance and can confirm the hole for tremolo bar in the bridge. Now I would really recommend to rename it from Chrome Kaoss to something else; because the finish is the same as the Mirror one has. --IIIAliAsIII 15:29, 6 November 2009 (GMT)

I belong to you

It was used at the rehearsal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft0Zc3s10Ys But song wasn't played at the gig yet. --IIIAliAsIII 13:04, 23 March 2010 (GMT)

Rename

On Tim Stark's facebook page, he has uploaded pictures of the guitar in a folder called 'Matt Bellamys Kaoss Mirror Guitar'. Should 'Kaoss Mirror' be considered as the official name? Link: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=26058&fbid=103014706425474&id=100001508349757
