Knights of Cydonia

Information

"Knights of Cydonia" was the third single to be released from Black Holes and Revelations. It was featured in BBC Radio 1's "Track of the Week" in the week starting 22nd/23rd October.[2]

It was reported that an extended version of "Assassin" was to be the B-Side for the "Knights of Cydonia" single on the offical Muse site.[3] This was later clarified to be for B-Side to the vinyl and non-preordered digital formats, and that the name of it is "Grand Omega Bosses edit".[4] "Grand Omega Bosses" is an anagram for 'Debase Masons Grog', or 'Message Board Song', a former title during the 2005 cryptography game, used to signify the then-untitled, extended version of "Assassin" on a setlist.
