Background
The M1D1 Manson is a guitar that Hugh Manson built for review in Guitarist Magazine. The name was derived from a customer confusing the term "Midi" for "M1D1".
The guitar was damaged when Matt threw it at a strobe light. It was confirmed by Manson's guitar shop that the M1D1 had split in half, and is now in pieces at Hugh's shop. It can be seen on display in Manson's Guitar Shop in Exeter.
It has now been replaced by the Seattle Manson.
Touring
The M1D1 Manson made its live debut at the Milan gig on 7th June 2006.
It died its death at the end of Stockholm Syndrome at Fuji Rock Festival on 27th July 2007.
