The Hallam FM Arena, originally named the Sheffield Arena, is a 12,500 seat arena in Sheffield that hosts concerts and sport events. It was opened in 1991 by Queen Elizabeth, and built at a cost of £34,000,000. The largest accommodated crowd numbered 38,000.
