Zedd's best known for the song "Clarity" featuring Foxes which charted at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number one of the US Hot Dance Club Songs and "Break Free", a song which has peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs

Zedd told Billboard, in 2014, that he's got a few people on his collaboration "wish list" for the next record incluiding Muse.[1] According to Zedd, he wants to collaborate with them because he grew up listening to bands who inspired him, incluiding Muse.[2]

In 2024, Zedd announced his new album, Telos, which features Muse, on the song 1685.[3]
