Description
Funky bass line, guitar with a wah effect and echoed vocals. The actor Jimmy Kane is not meant to be the protagonist of this song, it is merely a coincidence that his name was chosen. Given both the crude content of the song, and the possibility of the character becoming the title character of the album, it was not used on Showbiz, however was included on the earlier demo known as the Newton Abbot demo.[1]
Live
This song and Con-Science are the only Showbiz b-sides to have never been performed live. While it is entirely possible and likely that the song was performed sometime between 1996 and 1999, there are no confirmed performances or footage available to verify this.
Lyrics
Jimmy Kane can’t sleep at night
Sex in pain Keeps me alive
You can’t confuse yourself Mimicking no one else You can’t fake it You will never make it You can’t confuse yourself Mimicking no one else You can’t fake it You will never make it
Yeah you're to blame For everything Sex in pain Keeps moving me Keeps me
You can’t confuse yourself Mimicking no one else You can’t fake it You will never make it You can’t confuse yourself Mimicking no one else You can’t fake it You will never make it Yeah
