Announced 6th April 2010, the same day that Muse's concert at the 1st Bank Center in Colorado was cancelled.[source?] This gig was implied as a "make [...] up" date for Colorado fans,[source?] while the cancelled 1st Bank Center date was described as "postponed" by the Muse website on its information page for this concert, in explaining how to obtain refunds for the former date.[2] A pre-sale through Concertmaps started on the 21st of April at 12:00, while general sale started on the 24th at 12:00.[2] Tickets for the cancelled 1st Bank Center could be exchanged at the point of purchase.[2]

This show marked several firsts. Firstly, Knights of Cydonia was not the final song in a Resistance tour gig and the first time since release that it was not the opening or closing song. Secondly, Take a Bow was performed during a show on the tour not in a stadium and for the first time in the US on The Resistance tour and thirdly, MK Jam was played for the first time in the USA.
