Information
First teased by Matt on Twitter back in November[6], Muse were announced to play at Lollapalooza on Thursday, August 3rd. This was confirmed on March 22nd by the band and the festival.
This is the third time that Muse were set to headline Lollapalooza Chicago, after doing it in 2007 and 2011.
Due to bad weather and torrential downpour, Muse had to leave the stage after only 3 songs - Dig Down, Psycho, and Hysteria. Per Matt's Twitter, he was "gutted".
On Muse's Instagram, they wrote "Very sad Chicago City & police evacuated Grant Park early on in our show tonight due to lightning strikes nearby. We will be back as soon as we can. Thanks to all those that were rocking in the storm. Amazing fans as always."
