Skrydstrup's Custom Routing Interface is a rack-mount signal router, built by Danish/German guitar and bass rig unit producer, Skrydstrup R&D. Skrystrup have custom built this unit to suit Chris Wolstenholme's complicated signal paths. It's used in his rack both live and in the studio ever since The Resistance tour (if not earlier).
The custom unit switches the bass signal to the rack between 4 Radio Packs and 2 cables (in case the radio packs malfunction). It includes:
- 4 inputs from wireless systems (radio 1-4)
- 2 Cable inputs with -10/+10 gain control (on the front)
- 4 Amp outputs (amp 1-4)
- 3 Amp loops (amp 1-3 send/return)
- 2 Pre-amp DI outputs (w/ ground lift & phase reverse) (only amps 1 & 2)
- 4 Post-amp DI ouputs (w/ ground lift & phase reverse) (except amp 1)
- 1 Tuner out
- 1 Midi in
- 1 Midi-thru
- Mains ground lift
