It has not been performed since the October 2010 North American tour, and no pro-shots of the jam were broadcast. Despite this, there is pro-shot footage of the screen from Nijmegen 2010 show available in low quality. This is likely the closest to a pro-shot that will surface. At just nineteen performances, MK Jam has been performed less often than the majority of other instrumental jams (with a notable exception being the Osaka Jam). The belief that the "MK" refers to the jam's similarity to MK Ultra is likely a mistake.
The Jam was played at all Stadium dates in 2010, and it did appear at some festival and arena dates though it was never regularly played. The jam was dropped at the end of 2010 and it looks highly unlikely it will be played again.

Analysis and Explanation

Introduced for The Resistance 2010 Stadium Tour, the MK Jam is a drum and bass jam that was used as an intro to Undisclosed Desires. The jam was allegedly soundchecked at a Milton Keynes rehearsal session, giving the jam its name. The jam is quite unique compared to other jams performed by the band, in that it's performed in a 6/8 time signature and has a disco, metalic and electronic feel. It's also the only jam to feature electronic drums.

The Jam was played at all Stadium dates in 2010, and it did appear at some festival and arena dates though it was never regularly played. When played at stadiums, Dom and Chris walk onto the middle stage platform that floats out into the audience during MK Jam performances, making its way back to the stage by the end of the song before the intro to Undisclosed Desires begins. The jam was dropped at the end of 2010 and it looks highly unlikely it will be played again.
