Performing during Thought Contagion

Muse Dancers are a group of dancers performing with Muse on the Simulation Theory Tour. The line-up includes Taylor Sieve, Judson Emery, Brian Davis, Taylor Banks, Keanu Uchida, Andrea Bess, Kelly Dankbar, Lex Ishimoto, Nico Lonetree, Tyy Wells, Andrew Winghart, Patrick Ellis, Brianna Pavon and Savannah Harrison. The group also has an Instagram account, called musedancers on which they regulary post various backstage and behind the scenes content aswell as Muse fan memes.

During the show, they're performing at following songs;

  • Algorithm AR: The dancers surround Bellamy on the B-Stage, playing trombones.
  • Pressure: The dancers move to the wings and march to the beat of the song while playing trombones.
  • [Drill Sergeant]: The dancers line-up at the wings and shout "Aye Sir" before leaving the stage.
  • Break It To Me: 4 or 6 (depending on whether it's an arena or a stadium show) dancers, wearing hazmat suits, are moving up and down mid-air, attached to wires, infront of the LED screen. They're later joined by four more of them, two at each of the wings on the stage, providing an interesting light-show.
  • Uprising: Two performers (one per wing) are playing light-up drums.
  • Propaganda: Dancers are walking around the stage with handheld CO2 cannons.
  • Thought Contagion: Similar to Uprising, two performers are playing light-up drums on each wing, while, during the solo, more of them join Bellamy on the B-Stage. They're representing being "infected", similar to characters in the Simulation Theory music videos.
  • Dig Down (Acoustic): Dancers are slowly moving at the wings. At the end, they're joined by a couple of floating performers who appear infront of the screen. They're wearing LED-Strip suits.
  • Starlight : Again wearing LED-Strip suits, dancers line-up at the sides of the venue, wearing throwing Hullabaloons. This was changed for the EU leg of the tour to be at the start of Knights of Cydonia.
  • Algorithm: Dressed as Ninja warriors, the dancers enter the stage and position themselves on the catwalk, doing a choreography with light-up poles.
  • Knights of Cydonia : As mentioned before, for the EU leg of the tour, the dancers and the band decided to change the releasing of Hullabaloons to be at the start of Knights of Cydonia. They're still wearing LED-Strip suits and line-up at the sides of the venue before throwing the balloons into the crowd.
