The band

Walk the Moon are the supporting band during the American leg of the Simulation Theory Tour, except for the Washington and Philadelphia gigs. They were announced officialy the 14 January.

Walk the Moon is an American rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The band's name from the song "Walking on the Moon" by The Police. Formed in 2006 they released their debut studio album (I Want! I Want!) in 2010. More info here.

They have cited Talking Heads, David Bowie, The Killers, The Police, Tears for Fears, and Phil Collins as influences. The band's use of 1980s musical mainstays such as keyboard and synthesizer is also notable.
