Analysis and Explanation

Cover of a Prince song that was done at two promotional gigs in 2012 which required the band do a cover song. The band performed it at an actual concert once in 2013, though no footage remains from this performance. Prince has a notoriously uncooperative management team and any footage shot of the song was almost immediately taken down off the internet. Because of this, there is no known remaining footage of its 2013 performance. A similar event happened when Prince played Radiohead's Creep live and then prevented fans from uploading the footage, causing minor outrage and even having members of Radiohead speaking about the incident.

Once Prince died it was expected that the band would perform this live as a tribute, but no such performance took place; instead, the band released footage of the 09/28/2012 performance in greyscale as tribute to Prince. While it would be nice to see this cover's return to live setlists, it is likely that all footage shot by fans would be immediately taken down, so this song's absence is not much of a loss.
