"The Flamings Lips are a great band. We toured with them a few times. I think one of our first tours outside the UK we did with Pavement and The Flaming Lips around France. I think he [Wayne Coyne] writes great lyrics. There's something there that other bands at the moment don't have," says Matt.

Steven Drozd, lead guitarist for The Flaming Lips, has reportedly spoken about his dislike of Muse on his Twitter, and referred to their music as "miserable."
