Brian Switzer, who currently tours with the band Train, has played a couple gigs with [[Muse]] playing [[Knights of Cydonia (song) | Knights of Cydonia]] and [[City of Delusion (song)]] for them during the [[Black Holes and Revelations (album) | Black Holes and Revelations]] tour in 2007. [[Matthew Bellamy | Matt]] would introduce him as "our special guest trumpeter Brian." His first gig with the band was [[San Francisco Graham Bill Civic Auditorium 2007 (gig) | in his home state of California]]. He also played at  [[New York City Madison Square Garden 2007 (gig) | Madison Square Garden]].

==Education==
Brian attended Burlingame Intermediate School, in Burlingame, California, under the instruction of his band teacher Doug Simon, who still teaches there today.
