I'm a native speaker of German, and that's clearly not (only) German in the beginning. I can't tell which language(s) though. The only thing I can distinguish is "um kurz vor vier" (shortly before four), and then he corrects himself and seems to mix up German and English: "... äh, kurz vor five" (...er, shortly before five). (The German word for five would be "fünf" [fʏnf], which is not very similar to [faɪv]). Don't know if that helps in any way, but at least we know at which time the interview took place ;) Time Q 10:29, 26 March 2008 (GMT)
