Bellamy is known for using a Vox AC30 combo amplifier a lot over the Muse discography.
 
According to Matt, the AC30 is his favourite recording amp. His favourites are the 1970 and the 1964 JMI models - The '64 in particular because of the extreme spike of its Top Boost.
 
During live performances, he used to use a [[Vox AC30 head]] due to the vintage combo being too fragile, before switching to Kemper.
