Which XFM gig is the First Performance referring to? The earliest performance I know of is Paradiso 2001 on April the 12th of April. It seems a little unusual that there would be a radio broadcast of the song over 2 months before the album was released ... Could someone clarify please?
Foo Fighters
Does anyone know if Muse has stated whether or not this song is at all influenced by Foo Fighters? The drop A riff and slow mid-section is reminiscent of "Stacked Actors" (released in 1999), and the time frame fits, as Muse would have been touring with them around the time the song was written. --Dyingatheist 21:23, 20 September 2010 (BST)
