Chris uses three different Status S2-Classic basses. One is black (Graphite), another one is a walnut color, and the third one black with embedded LED's. The latter of which is a protoype model, as the homepage of Status tells, and differs slightly from the other ones. He acquired the Walnut one near the beginning of the stadium tour. The black one was delivered just before Glastonbury 2010. The black one with LED's was used since the South America U2 Support. These basses are custom made by the English guitar company Status Graphite.
