Initially the only date revealed with rumours about the Brazilian leg of the Latin America tour in early May.[2] Alongside this date, the band were said to be playing gigs in São Paulo and Curitiba.[2] Later the same month, the rumour of a Curitiba gig was replaced with one in Brasília.[3]

All three gigs were confirmed through official Muse website news on the 12th of June,[1] after a musewire bulletin the previous day telling Brazilian fans to "stay tuned" for a live announcement. [4] The date is one day earlier than that of the rumours.[2][1]
