The video was filmed in a warehouse in Los Angeles, California in April 2010[1], shortly before the band jetted off for their gig in Mexico City[2].

Anthony Mandler, one of the top commercial and music video directors working today, directed the video. Mandler has also directed music videos for artists such as Rihanna ("Russian Roulette"), John Mayer ("Who Says") and Jay-Z ("Run This Town").[3]
