Background
This guitar is an "improved and tweaked" continuation of the Cort MBC-1 and the Manson MBM-1 and is produced in association with Cort, but under the Manson trademark. In terms of pricing and specifications, it is almost identical to the Cort MBC-1 and the Manson MBM-1, with the only noticeable difference being the pickups, which have been slightly updated and now feature a P90 / Manson Humbucker (bridge pickup) combination instead of a humbucker-single coil combination (also bearing similarities to the Manson Matt Black 3.0) and the electronics cavity in the back, which was routed larger as standard for easier modification purposes and the Manson Logo on the Headstock.
The guitar was announced on June 2022, with social media posts by Manson Guitars and Matt Bellamy.
It is available in both Satin (Matte) Black, Starlight Silver (Matte-like Silver) and Meta blue (Bluebell version of blue)
Upgrade options
Manson Guitar Works offer the additional Sustainer install (except for the bluebell). As with the Cort MBC-1, more modification options are presumably going to be available in the future.
