This concert will be part of the European leg of "The Resistance" tour, announced on the 1st of June.[1] Fan pre-sale information and links were announced on the 3rd of June.[4] Pre-sale took place on the 5th–6th[4] and general sale started on the 6th.[1] In an announcement on the Parken Stadiums website, it is stated, that 17,000 tickets are on sale, which only includes the grass and parts of the tribunes[5] - usually, the Parken Stadium can host up to about 50,000 visitors on concerts.[6] The concert was arranged by Beatbox Concerts.[2]
On playing songs from "The Resistance" live, Dominic Howard stated that learning to do so "should take a while!"[7]
