This is an old rumour. This gig may or may not have had any official consideration, but regardless did not take place.

Matthew Bellamy first mentioned a possible gig in Belfast during an interview with Ben Jones on Virgin Radio, on the 18th of February 2008.[1] He mentioned it again during an interview at the NME awards on BBC Radio 1 and XFM, on the 28th of the same month.[2][3] At the NME awards, Bellamy expressed a desire on the part of the band to have Glasvegas, who had won the Philip Hall Radar Award, as support for the Belfast and Dublin gigs. He said Muse needed a "good" band to play with.[2]
