Mt Smart Stadium, formerly known as Ericsson Stadium, is a football stadium in the Auckland suburb of Penrose. It is primarily used as the home ground for the New Zealand Warriors, a club in the Australian rugby league competition, the NRL.[1]
It has been used as the ground for the 2 main stages at the Big Day Out since the festival came to New Zealand in 1994. The surrounding outer grounds are used for the smaller stages.
