Alessandro Cortini is an italian musician that replaced Morgan Nicholls at the Berlin Admiralspalast 2009 (gig) and the New York City Walter Kerr Theatre 2009 (gig) due to Morgan taking time off to spend with his wife and new born baby. He is best known for touring with Nine Inch Nails and for the duo indie/electronica band Modwheelmood.

It is currently unknown whether Alessandro will replace Morgan for the rest of The Resistance Tour.
