A&E Records was formalised on May 19, 2003, when the NCM Group of independent record labels, comprising of Mushroom Records UK, Infectious Records, Ultimate Dilemma, Perfecto and 48K were absorbed into WMG's East West after 20 months of negotiations, with all of its roster transferring over.[1] On November 14, 2004, A&E Records was realigned, and transferred across the company to within the Warner Bros label.[2]
