The Metro Radio Arena is an arena in Newcastle. The arena is used for entertainment and sports. It was opened in November 1995, and was initially called the Telewest Arena due to being sponsored by Telewest Arena until January 2004, when Metro Radio began sponsoring the venue. The arena is run by SMG Europe. The maximum seated capacity of the venue is 11,000.
