Speaking of your favorite bands, other than RATM because Muse uses their riffs, the bands seem a bit out of place next to Muse, like different styles. - User:Danooch

Well I like a lot of different styles of rock. I also looked and these bands have influenced muse, except RHCP who muse have toured with :) Muse have also played nirvana's school as a riff and the song Dead Star has similarities to The Smashing Pumpkins' song "Silverfuck" - User:The Groove
