Mini Mansions
Mini Mansions are an L.A. based indie pop/psychedelic pop/glam rock band. The band consists of Queens of the Stone Age bassist Michael Shuman, Arctic Monkeys touring member and Mister Goodnite member Tyler Parkford, and session musician Zach Dawes, known for musical contributions to Brian Wilson, Lisa Marie Presley and Lana Del Rey, aswell as soundtracks such as The Hunger Games and True Detective. The band also features Queens of the Stone Age and former Mars Volta drummer, Jon Theodore, as their touring drummer.
The band was founded in 2009 after Queens of the Stone age took a break, releasing their first self-titled EP in the same year and a self-titled LP a year later. In 2015, the band released their second album, "The Great Pretenders", which includes songs like "Any Emotions", "Freakout!" and "Double Visions", aswell as "Vertigo", which features Alex Turner. In 2016, a compilation album was released, called "Flashbacks", which includes B-sides from their second release. In 2019, the band released their third album, "A Guy Walks Into a Bar...", featuring songs like "GummyBear", "Forgot Your Love" and "Hey Lover" with Alison Mosshart.
The band has supported Muse on various European stadium dates on the 2019 Simulation Theory World Tour.
