Crystal Fighters

Crystal Fighters are an English-Spanish indie folk and folktronica band, formed in 2007 in London, England and Navarre, Spain. Through their years, the band has gone through a couple line-up changes and currently consists of Sebastian Pringle (lead vocals, guitar), Gilbert Vierich (synth, guitars, percussion, txalaparta) and Graham Dickson (guitar, txalaparta). The trio made music before the band was formed, and joined by Laure Stockley and Mimi Borrelli (both on vocals). The name Crystal Fighters was taken from an unfinished opera which Stockley's grandfather had penned during his final months. In 2010, the band added their drummer, Andrea Marongiu, and they released their first album, Star of Love, on the same year. In 2011, Stockley left the band.

After performing several shows across European festivals such as Glastonbury, Lowlands and Sziget, supporting Foals and having their own tour, aswell as releasing the single Love Is All I Got in 2012, the band released another album called Cave Rave in 2013. In 2014, they released another single called Love Alight, which was originally supposed to be released on the Cave Rave album. It was premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 4. The same year, in September, drummer Andrea Marongiu died from heart failure and the band took longer break, in which Stockley also left.

Two years after, in 2016, they released their third album, Everything Is My Family, with singles All Night, Good Girls and Lay Low, which was dedicated to Marongiu.

In 2018, the single Boomin' In Ya Jeep was released. This was followed by a release of an EP called Hypnotic Sun and shortly after, in March of 2019, they released their fourth album called Gaia & Friends.

The band supported Muse at the 2018 Bilbao gig together with Berri Txarrak.
