Cage the Elephant

Cage the Elephant are an American indie and alternative rock band originating from Bowling Green, Kentucky, where they formed in 2006. In 2008, before releasing their debut album, they relocated to London, England.

The band currently consists of brothers Matt (lead vocals) and Brad Schultz (rhytm guitar), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar), Matthan Minster (guitar/keyboard), Daniel Tichenor (bass) and Jared Champion (drums). Bockrath replaced Lincoln Parish, who was the bands leads guitarist since their formation up until December of 2013, when he got out to pursue a producing career. The band also had touring members in the past, including Joe Tichenor (rhytm guitar between 2013 and 2014), Kyle Davis (drums in 2014) and Dave Grohl (drums in 2011).

The band has so far released 5 studio albums; Self-titled debut in 2008, Thank You, Happy Birthday in 2011, Melophobia in 2013, Tell Me I'm Pretty in 2015 and Social Cues in 2019. They also released two live albums, Live From the Vic in Chicago (2012) and Unpeeled (2017).

Cage the Elephant supported Muse during the U.S. leg of The 2nd Law Arena Tour in 2013.
